Brazilian Food

After the excursion the brasilians asked Philipp and me if we would like to join them to have lunch in a brazilian restaurant... Of course we said yes. ;-)

It was really cool, Samba music, brasilian culture, feeling and tasteful food. I had a brasilian beef with rice and beans, it was sth really different, but very good!

And, fashizzle, I took an Acai afterwards... I love this stuff so much!

Nach der Exkursion haben die Brasilianer Philipp und mich gefragt ob wir gerne mit denen in einem brasilianischem Restaurant Mittagessen wollen... Und natürlich haben wir ja gesagt. ;-)

War echt cool, Samba Musik, brasilianische Kultur, brasilianisches Feeling und echt leckeres Essen. I hatte ein brasilianisches Beef mit Reis und Bohnen, und es war echt mal was ganz anderes, aber wirklich sehr gut!

Und, na klar, habe ich mir noch einen Acai danach bestellt... Ich liebe das Zeug einfach!

Wildlife Currumbin again!

On monday we did an excursion with all Internationals of our school to Wildlife Currumbin Sanctuary... the place where I was already with my host mom. But it was really good although.

I took a Koala photo with me holding this cute animal... but damn, it stinks!

Anyway, it was a good day. On the start was a bird feeding... really funny seeing them in everyone's head, thousands of them!!

Montag haben wir eine Exkursion mit allen Austauschschülern unserer Schule in Wildlife Currumbin Sanctuary gemacht... zu dem Ort, an dem ich auch schon mit meiner Gastmutter war. War aber trotzdem echt gut.

Ich habe ein Koalafoto aufnehmen lassen mit mir wie ich ihn halte, den süßen... aber verdammt, stinkt das Vieh!

Jedenfalls war's ein guter Tag. Am Anfang gab's noch 'ne Vogelfütterung... echt witzig anzusehen, wie die ganzen Paradiesvögel auf jedermanns Kopf sitzt, ja tausende von ihnen!!

Wakeboarding!!

I was a little bit scared because of my knee after my cruciate rupture... but i wanted to try. So Thomas, Philipp, Sinan, Kelvin and me went to Cable Ski Logan. It's like one hour north of Gold Coast by train. It was such fun! Sinan failed, but Thomas and Kelvin did really well! Philipp was broke, so he took really really great fotos!

I am surprised that my knee was already good enough for kicker, slider

and stuff like this. But I was still really careful... There were two really hard crashes... like one front edge, like one body against the funbox and like one accident at the slider (Foto)... The cable is great, the location in sunset is awesome... Please again!

Ich hatte schon ein wenig Angst aufgrund meines Knies nach dem Kreuzbandriss... aber ich wollte es unbedingt wieder probieren. Also sind Thomas, Philipp, Sinan, Kelvin und ich zu Cable Ski Logan gefahren. Das liegt circa eine Zugstunde nördlich von Gold Coast. Es war echt ein mega Spass! Sinan hat zwar verkackt, aber Thomas und Kelvin waren ziemlich gut! Philipp war pleite, dadurch hat er echt gute Fotos gemacht!

Ich bin überrascht, dass mein Knie gut genug war und durchhielt über den Kicker, Slider und so ein Zeug. Aber ich war immer noch vorsichtig... Trotzdem hat's mich zweimal ganz übel geschmissen... eine Frontedge, einmal bin ich quer gegen die Funbox geflogen und ein Unfall auf'm Slider (Foto)... Das Cable ist der Hammer, die Location im Sonnenuntergang der Wahnsinn... bitte nocheinmal!!

Sports Carnival

Yesterday was the big sports carnival of my school. We got 4 houses with 4 different colores. And of course, you come in the color of your house! And some people were really motivated haha. They created their own customs, came as a power ranger, super mario, luigi or just in a whole body suit! :D In different kinds of sports you try to collect points for your house.

It was a lot of fun...

Gestern war der große Sportskarneval meiner Schule. Wir haben 4 Häuser mit 4 verschiedenen Farben. Und natürlich kommt man in der Farbe seines Hauses. Und einige Leute waren echt motiviert, schneiderten sich ihre eigenen Kostüme, kamen als Power Ranger, Super Mario, Luigi oder gleich in einem Ganzkörperanzug! :D In verschiedenen Sportsdisziplinen hat man versucht Punkte für sein Haus zusammeln.

Hat echt mega Spass gemacht...

R.I.P. Organizer

After my garlic accident in hospitality last week I had to wash my whole backpack... with all what was inside. So I washed my organizer as well... Stupid as I am I forgot to dry it properly. So I realized today some little black spots in all over my organizer. Well, it got moldy.

I need to throw it away. And no, it was not enough to wash my backpack only with my hands. The machine was necessary too... :D

Nach meinem Knoblauchunfall letzte Woche in Hospitality musste ich meinen kompletten Rucksack waschen... mit allem was auch darin war. Also wusch ich auch meinen Organizer von der Schule... Doof wie ich bin habe ich vergessen diesen danach auch wieder richtig zu trocknen. Und so habe ich heute ein paar schwarze Flecken, verteilt über meinen ganzen Planer, gefunden. Naja, es ist geschimmelt. Ich muss das Ding wohl wegwerfen. Und nein, es hat nicht gereicht meinen Rucksack nur mit meinen Händen zu waschen. Die Maschine war auch noch zusätzlich notwendig... :D

Australian People

You talk 10 minutes to a guy in your age, then he says already "Hey man, there is a party tonight, u wanna join? take some friends with you!". The hospitality here is amazing. Everybody tries to help you if you just ask, they say "good morning", even if you don't know them. And they trust you. Today Sinan needed the key for the bike cage in our school. And the key was given to him without hesitating.

All in all you see just happy faces on the street, the people smile! The glas is half full, not half empty. They share with you, seem interested in you and listen and talk. Great!

Man redet 10 Minuten zu einem Typen in deinem Alter, dann sagt er schon "Hey man, da ist 'ne Party heute nacht, willst du mitkommen? Bringe ein paar Freunde mit!" Die Gastfreundschaft ist umwerfend. Jeder versucht einem zu helfen, wenn man nur fragt, sie sagen "Guten Morgen", obwohl du sie gar nicht kennst. Und sie trauen dir. Sinan brauchte heute den Schlüssel für den Fahrradkäfig in unserer Schule. Und man gab ihm diesen Schlüssel ohne Zögern.

Sowieso sieht man hier fast nur glückliche Gesichter auf den Straßen, die Leute lächeln" Das Glas ist halbvoll, nicht halbleer. Sie teilen mit dir, scheinen an dir interessiert, hören zu und reden. Einfach großartig!
