Bad day for a Bat

It's not rarely that u see a bat flying over your head while you go at the street at night, but if you see something on the ground, looking like a stone in the first moment and u nearly stepped on it, and u realise it is a bat without head... then it feels unpleasant!

Es passiert hier nicht selten, dass dir eine Fledermaus über den Kopf fliegt während man nachts über die Strassen läuft, aber wenn du etwas auf dem Boden liegen siehst, was im ersten Moment wie ein Stein ausschaut und du fast darauf getreten wärst und dann realisierst, dass das eigentlich eine Fledermaus ohne Kopf ist... dann ist das schon unangenehm!

Doomsday

Grey sky, heavy rain, underwater streets, palms in wind - hurrican style!... that's what rain in Queensland is about. A real cloudburst!

I made the best of my day, went to Sarah and watched some DVDs with her.

Oh yeah, and I hate the taxis here! My plan: Take a cab, don't get wet and be fast. So I wanted to call one, I couldn't understand his damned bad english, asked 2 times "sorry, could u repeat this" and what did he? He replaced... Gold Coast Yellow Cabs is bad, the white ones are good! They took me finally to Sarah after I was in the wrong bus and arrived somewhere in Robina, without any orientation... :D

Grauer Himmel, heftiger Regenfall, überflutete Strassen, Palmen die sich im Wind biegen - Hurrican Style!... das ist der Regen hier in Queensland. Ein echter Wolkenbruch!

Ich habe das beste aus dem Tag gemacht, bin zu Sarah und habe ein paar DVDs mit ihr gesehen.

Ach ja und ich hasse die Taxis hier! Mein Plan: Hol dir ein Taxi, werd' nicht nass und sei schnell da. Also wollte ich eins rufen, aber ich konnte sein verdammt schlechtes Englisch nicht verstehen, habe 2 mal gefragt, ob er das nocheinmal wiederholen könnte, und was tut er? Er legt auf!... Gold Coast Yellow Cabs sind scheisse, die weißen sind gut! Die haben mich dann schlussendlich zu Sarah gebracht, nachdem ich in einen falschen Bus eingestiegen war und irgendwo orientierungslos in Robina gestrandet war... :D

Movie World

The annual pass was it worth already now. Paid only a hundred bucks, already made a plus.

Went to Warner Brothers Movie World today, was great. Good rollercoasters, all my favourite comic and movie stars, like Austin Powers, Superman, Bugs Bunny, Badman and many many more. Over this there were really awesome live shows!

One rollercoaster shoots u with 100 km/h in 2 sec... One doesn't let u know where u r by all those loopings...

And there was a Hollywood Car Stunt show. Amazing effects, skills and lot of action. Just wow!!

Der Jahrespass hat sich jetzt schon gelohnt. Nur 100 $ bezahlt und schon Plus gemacht!

Sind heute zu Warner Brothers Movie World gegangen und es war großartig!

Gute Achterbahnen, alle meine Lieblingscomic- und Filmhelden, wie Austin Powers, Superman, Bugs Bunny, Badman und viele viele mehr. Dazu echt tolle Live-Shows!

Eine Achterbahn schiesst einen raus zu 100 Km/h in nur 2 Sekunden... Eine lässt einen durch die ganzen Loopings nicht wissen wo du eigentlich bist...

Und es gab war eine geile Hollywood Auto Stunt Show. Unglaubliche Effekte, unglaubliches Können und viel viel Action. Einfach wow!

Aussie Parties

Well,

not as good as in germany. Houseparties were expected better. Especially if you get kicked out at 11pm... but not only you, but the whole party crowd

nicht so gut wie in Deutschland. Dachte, Houseparties sind besser hier. Vorallem wenn man um 23 Uhr rausfliegt... aber nicht nur du, sondern die ganze Partyherde

What a week

Wow,

not many slept this week. Monday visited me Hanna at 9pm, we only wanted to watch some dvds. At the end she staied till 5 am! On the next day was school... Not a good combination. Especially when you only watch advertises at TV, cause you find the DVDs of your family just at 2pm :D

And the next night? Sleeping? Of course not! :D

Sinan, Hanna and Sarah came to me, staied till 2 am. I hoped I could sleep... but nooo!! A call of Sarah "Oi, Come on let's go to McD! Now, I want an ice!"

So we went to McD, ate some, came back and finally I could sleep for 3 hours.

Fun :D

Wow,

nicht viel geschlafen die Woche. Montag hat mich Hanna besucht um 21 Uhr, wir wollten eigentlich nur ne DVD gucken. Am Ende blieb sie bis 5 Uhr! Am nächsten Tag war ja noch Schule... Keine gute Kombi.

Besonders wenn man 2 Std Werbung guckt, weil man die DVDs der Familie so um 2 Uhr entdeckt :D

Und die nächste Nacht? Schlafen? Natürlich nicht! :D

Sinan, Hanna und Sarah kamen zu mir, blieben dann bis 2 Uhr. Ich dachte, dass ich dann mal schlafen könnte... aber NÖÖÖÖ!! Ein Anruf von Sarah "Oi, lass' mal zu Mcess! Ich will ein Eis!"

Also gingen wir zu Mcess, aßen ein bisschen was, kamen zurück und konnte letzendlich doch noch 3 Std schlafen.

Kein Kommentar. Australien ist verwirrend. Den einen Tag sagen sie, es ist sicher, am anderen sagen sie es ist nicht mehr möglich. Vielleicht kann uns unsere Organisation ja weiterhelfen...

Sea World

Had a great day at SeaWorld at sunday. We bought a card making it possible to go as often as we want to to funparks for free. It costs only 100 $. Really good.There are two nice rollercoasters at SW, we took the last ride of both haha. There weren't many people today, but what is really strange that even the parks closes at 5pm, like every shop here.

The dolphin show was a really highlight. Amazing. Same with the underground view to so many fishes and so big sharks.... WWUUHA

Hatte heute einen großartigen Tag in SeaWorld am Sonntag. Wir haben eine Karte gekauft, die es ermöglicht so oft wie man will in verschiedene Funparks zu gehen und zwar kostenlos! Die Karte kostet gerade mal 100 $. Echt gut.

Es gibt zwei ganz gute Achterbahnen in SW, wovon wir jeweils den letzten Ride genommen haben haha. Viele Leute waren da nicht, aber was echt komisch ist, ist die Tatsache, dass sogar der Park um 17 Uhr schliesst, sowie jeder Shop hier.

Die Delphin Show war ein echtes Hightlight. Wahnsinn. Das gleiche gilt für das Aquarium mit Blick zu so vielen Fischen und so großen Haien... WWUUHA

Upgrading

Yeah, we did it!! Finally Sinan (a friend ) and me made it to grade up from year 10 to year 11! So we aren't juniors anymore, get invited to parties, are the big ones, may cut the line in front of the canteen and have better subjects.

It's good this way, because australian boys and girls look all 2 years younger as they are. So I don't feel like in year 7 at least.

Thanks to Lori!! Without her we had to pay 2000$, but now it's payment free. She is so smart ;)

Yeah, wir haben's geschafft!! Letzendlich haben Sinan (ein Kumpel) und ich es doch noch geschafft von Klasse 10 auf Klasse 11 hinauf gestuft zu werden! So sind wir nicht mehr die Juniors, werden zu Parties eingeladen, sind die Großen, dürfen uns vor der Kantine vordrängeln und haben bessere Fächer.

So ist es besser, weil australische Jungen und Mädchen sehen alle 2 Jahre jünger aus, als sie eigentlich sind. So fühle ich mich immerhin nicht wie in Klasse 7.

Danke, Lori!! Ohne sie hätten wir 2000$ dafür zahlen müssen, aber so ist es kostenlos. Sie ist so clever ;)

Little Differents

Doorknob is really high, the moon is turned for 90°, it get's dark early, you can turn off/on the sockets, there is no really lunch, no bread but toast, internet sucks because: you have a number of MBs, and it get's slower and slower. This is the reason why I don't post many photos.

And left-hand traffic haha

Der Türknopf ist echt hoch angebracht, der Mond ist um 90° gedreht, es wird früh dunkel, man kann die Steckdosen ein und ausschalten, es gibt kein richtiges Mittagessen, es gibt kein Brot ausser Toast, das Internet ist Mist weil: Man hat eine gewisse Anzahl an MBs, und es wird immer langsamer deswegen. Das ist auch der Grund, warum ich sowenig Fotos poste.

Und Linksverkehr natürlich haha
